Current digital skills and competence level

Digital Dubai is overseeing the digital transformation of Dubai, and digital skills are an essential component to a successful digital transformation and to a thriving digital economy. The information and communications technology sector being fast-evolving as it is, Digital Dubai is issuing a survey for employers in Dubai to gather information about the demand and supply of ICT skills in the city, in addition to identifying the gaps in those skills.

Future Skills Demand

Digital Dubai will take the necessary actions, based on the data gathered, to close the loop between supply and demand. The findings will be disseminated amongst employers and teaching institutes to provide visibility and encourage corrective actions. Digital Dubai will also actively promote methods of filling the gaps through the various initiatives developed under the digital skills strategy.
